Why are shipping containers coming through Virginia’s ports crucial to two-thirds of the  nation’s population and more than 45 countries?

Most people have no idea just how crucial The Port of Virginia is to the lives of two-thirds of the nation’s population. It is a catalyst for commerce in the Commonwealth, creating jobs and moving in-coming and out-going cargo year-round. But how do you humanize cranes, ships, trains, barges and trucks? Our task was to humanize the port through its fiscal year with a multi-media campaign including traditional collateral for political and influence audiences, targeted out-home media, digital executions promoting sustainability efforts. Our creative team developed a cargo box shaped cover and we filled it with the stories of the people who do business with the port and those impacted by the cargo it handles daily.
